Free Louisiana Nwco Test Form
The Louisiana Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator (NWCO) Test form serves as a critical component in the application process for individuals seeking to obtain a permit from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. This application includes a comprehensive 75-question test that assesses knowledge in several key areas. Applicants must demonstrate their understanding of wildlife biology and behavior, as well as the rules and regulations set forth by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Topics covered in the test also include methods for preventing and controlling wildlife damage and general wildlife knowledge. A minimum score of 80% is required to qualify for the permit. Resources for preparation are provided, including links to current hunting and trapping regulations, relevant rules for NWCOs, and handbooks on wildlife damage prevention and control. Upon successful completion of the test, applicants must submit a signed release statement and will undergo a background check. It is important to note that failure to comply with the rules and regulations can result in enforcement actions, including the revocation of the permit. For further assistance, applicants can reach out to the designated DMAP Coordinator.
